Cindy on the Surface was made in collaboration with Astrid (Agi) Haugesen and it is a rewrite and a twist on the fairytale of Cinderella. It is about gender roles and expectations and what cultural narratives we learn from a very early age. Working through costume, choreography, music and text we are creating a silly universe where two birds in huge yellow rubber gowns appear in a smell of rubber that is over the top.
The performance was shown at NoGoods gallery space in Bergen, 2022.
